Granietkop Camp is situated on the road D2612, 30 km from the Twyfelfontein engravings and 100 km from town Uis and south-west of town Khorixas. Granietkop is a tranquil and very private community operated camp site that is situated within easy drive of the Twyfelfontein art engravings in the Damaraland region of Namibia. Granietkop was a stopping point for a San group en route to Brandberg Mountain. This historical region is sacred to the San people who lived here 2,000 to 5,000 thousand years ago.

Please ensure that reservations are made in advance to ensure that hosts are prepared for your arrival. Overnight camping only includes ablution facilities, all equipment to be supplied by visitors. There are no power points at the camp sites.

CHILDREN POLICY

Children of all ages are welcome, however it is the full responsibility of the parents to take care of the well being of their offsprings.
Children the age of 6-12 years will be charged half price for the overnight stay and activities.
