The Highland Rose can be found in the enchanting village of Dullstroom on the Mpumalanga highveld. Here one can while away leisure days amid quaint buildings and cheery characters who populate this idyllic village. Come breathe fresh air, free your mind and relax in one of comfortable cottages set in magnificent garden, lined with tinkering water features and a koi pond. The garden is in itself a bird watchers' paradise.
Your hosts, Jim and Vikki offer hearty breakfasts in the "farmhouse style" kitchen or on the patio overlooking the garden. Hosts also offer the avid fishermen (and women), a hearty brunch on their return from their early morning quest to catch the big one during the morning rise. Before the excursion, coffee and rusks are on offer.
The main cottage is a real home from home, with a large lounge/diner with open fireplace, kitchenette, bathroom, TV and a romantic loft style bedroom. Two double cottages, both en suite and another room in the main house completes accommodation arrangements. All the rooms are fitted with wall heaters, while a full tea/coffee tray is standard fare in the cottages and rooms.
