Kaoko Bush Lodge is located 8 km from Kamanjab in the Kunene Region in north-western Namibia, en-route to small town Opuwo, the capital of Kaokoland. The lodge offers cozy accommodation in private bungalows and well-maintained camping sites. Tuskers Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner wholesome meals as well as a bar.

Kaoko Bush Lodge is set inside own game park with eighteen game species. There are also more than 200 bird species, many of which are indigenous. A waterhole, set just 30 m away from the restaurant, attracts game and birds alike. Kaoko Bush Lodge boasts a swimming pool. A large solar rig ensures completely off the grid water supply sourced from uncontaminated underground springs.

The town Kamanjab, en-route to remote pristine Kaokoland, is situated in the Kunene Region, famous for magic wide landscapes, rugged mountains, dry riverbeds, abundance of wildlife. The town has several well-stocked supermarkets, fuel stations, pharmacies, tyre/service stations where you can stock up before your long journey.

Kaoko Bush Lodge accommodation: brick chalets with traditional thatch roofs. Each chalet has a private veranda, twin beds. En-suite bathroom with showers, toilet, hand wash basin, mirror. Built-in wardrobe, daily cleaning service, buffet breakfast, pet friendly. Safe parking area in front of each chalet.

Kaoko Bush Lodge camping: under shady trees. Hot water: the “donkey” (traditional wood-fired boiler). Private ablutions, open wash area (scullery) with running water, power points, barbecue facilities at each site, max 4 persons per site, pet friendly. Campers are able to book meals at the restaurant.
