LAGOON VALLEY comprises 20 self catering rondavels overlooking the lagoon. Each rondavel is divided into two bedrooms (sleeping 5); a kitchenette, equipped with fridge, double hotplate, pots, pan, cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery; a small dinette with table and chairs; a bathroom with shower, basin and toilet.
LAGOON VALLEY sited on the banks of a lagoon in a sheltered valley, is one of the most beautiful resorts in the Eastern Cape. The Zamnyana river cuts through the hills which encircle the Park, creating tall rocky cliffs and crystal pools below. The Resort makes you feel like you are in some long forgotten nature paradise, yet it's hard to believe you are only 12.6km to the city hall. Enjoy a trip down the lagoon by canoe or pedal boat and see a part of the 159 bird species inhabiting the area. Also enjoy the scenery if you plan to walk down to the beach.
LAGOON VALLEY has a safe bathing beach, (10 minutes walk) that is almost exclusively it's own. Enjoy a scenic stroll along the shell studded beach to historical Cove Rock.
COVE ROCK, where turbulent waves crash relentlessly against the cliff, leaping 20m into the air.
