Tshaa Camp, Moremi Game Reserve

Tshaa Camp is located near Mababe Village north-east of Moremi Game Reserve in Botswana on the banks of Kwai River where wildlife is prolific and sightings are common. The camp has flush toilets and hot/cols water showers at each shaded camping site. Tshaa is a Bushman word for "water".

The Tshaa Riverside Camp is conveniently located on the banks of Khwai River, around 50 km south of Chobe National Park and 80 km east of Moremi Game Reserve.

Tshaa is set at the Mababe concession, 130 km north of Maun and it is accessible by road and air. Six large camping sites are shaded and set under old green trees. Tshaa Camp is community owned.

Wildlife and elephants are roaming freely through the camp. Tshaa facilities include fire pits, flush toilets and hot/cold water outdoor showers.

Tshaa Camp is not fenced-off and campsites are spread out. Roads can be rough and muddy during rainy season and 4WD vehicle is advised.

The place is immaculately kept by friendly and helpful staff. There is a resident elephant herd at the Tshaa Camp seeing frequently by campers.

Location: 80 km east of Moremi Game Reserve, near Mababe Village. Easy road access from Maun.
