Approximately 230 km from Cape Town, on the road towards Graafwater and Lamberts Bay, lies Ysterfontein, a Rooibos tea farm with an almost century-old farmhouse. Ysterfontein guest farm has been in the tourist business for the past 16 years. The farm is well known for its Rooibos tea. Hundreds of visitors from across the world visit it annually. Here you can see the Rooibos tea production - from the plant to the final product.
Ysterfontein guest farm is also known for its catering for groups. Hosts provide dinner/lunch/breakfast for groups of 5 to 50 people. A meal can be ordered to coincide with a visit to see the production of Rooibos tea. Menus are available on request. Self-Catering cottage with 2 bedrooms (en-suite), living room and kitchen.
