SAFARI OPTIONS

Vehicles : All scheduled safaris will utilise:
Nissan/Toyota 4x4 with pop top roof/max 9 seats + 1 guide or
Toyota Hiace minibus/ max 10 seats + 1 guide (Sossusvlei trips)

Accommodation: Camping - we provide 2 person tents, foam mattresses, chairs, table, lighting, all cooking & eating utensils. Sleeping bags may be hired in Windhoek for an additional fee. Please advise in advance. Most camping sites have showers and toilets. Sometimes we may stay in accommodation and clients must be prepared to sleep in a twin share room with same sex if travelling alone.

Single supplement: None available, all camping and accommodation is undertaken on 
twin share basis. On some nights it is possible to upgrade to a private room but we do have to be notified in advance and is subject to availability. All upgrades will be at clients' own expense.

Participation : Each scheduled safari is run on a full participation basis. Clients
will be expected to help in all areas of the safari with guidance from your safari leader. This includes erecting and dismantling your tent, assisting with food preparation and washing dishes. All food is purchased by guide and meals are cooked by guide. 
Meals:
Breakfast: cereal, yoghurt, toast & jam, tea/coffee
Lunch: cold meats and fresh salads with fresh bread rolls
Dinner: a different dish each night - curries, pasta, braai, stir fries……
All dietary requirements can be catered for, however notification PRIOR to departure must be given on the Booking Form.

Departures: All departures are from Chameleon Backpacker's Lodge.
Clients must be present at the lodge no later than 30 minutes prior to departure. Transfer from other accommodation can be arranged ONLY with prior notice.

Departure Times: Please check the safari confirmation issued to your client regarding the exact departure time of each safari.
